Every swim coach needs an arsenal of mini sets...sets of 8 X 25...that can be inserted at any point during a practice to break things up.

A little technique work to start the week right, with inspiration from Go Swim Freestyle with Jason Lezak.
This week's set asks you to descend your swim time, but on as ascending sendoff.
Yesterday's main set was all about back-half swimming. Today's set continues that theme...but the entire main set requires a "back-half" strategy in order to achieve the goal of descending your times over the course of 1800 yards.
Working pace today, and practicing the ability to stay relaxed on the front part of each swim or race.
This week's set follows the theme of learning how to pace yourself from start to finish through a workout.
Freestyle technique is your focus in the first half of the set. Putting that technique into practice with a classic 10 X 100 is your focus on the second half.
Leap Year (and Olympics) come just once every four years. Why not celebrate the extra day by taking a leap?
is week's set LOOKS like a freestyle set with a little bit of stroke work thrown in. But it's really all about the 25s of stroke, which you swim AFTER doing a bit of freestyle.
A red-hot cardio workout for Valentine's Day. Share the love!
This week's set will help you get comfortable with that old friend, lactate.
We are a group of swimmers who swim really fast, and like to help others learn how to reach their competitive potential in the area of professional swimming.
